I’m more than just an SEO expert. Take a moment to learn a bit more about the face behind Elation.
I’ve been an SEO consultant for five years, and have worked in internet-related positions for eight. I love the endless possibilities that the web offers, but all too often I see people fall short of their potential because of a lack of knowledge or the right tools. My dream for Elation came from a sincere desire to help people get their great ideas in front of the right web users to make them a success.
Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, I’ve spent my entire life in love with the outdoors. From my earliest childhood memories of camping in the Colorado Rockies with my family to the amazing ski trip to Silverton Mountain this spring, I have an insatiable appetite for fresh air. Too much of a good thing is never enough, and I am so very fortunate to have an awesome backyard to play in.
My passion for music runs just as deep. While I enjoy just about every genre, my true affinity is for electronic music. From soulful, deep and funky house to hard drum and bass, I can’t get enough of the tracks that make you want to shake it. I DJ for the love first and foremost and sometimes I even get paid to do it!
I graduated from the University of Colorado in 2004 with a degree in Communication. It made the most sense to me from all the potential options, because it was the one area of study that has been applicable every day of my life. I continue to examine communication styles in my daily interactions with people. The subject fascinates me: the immediacy of a personal interaction, and the raw power of mass communication. I’m always looking for ways to improve the way people communicate, and the emergence of web 2.0 is an exciting new frontier just begging to be explored.
Last but most certainly not least, I’m getting married to the love of my life in October! Her name is Jaime, and on the 28th we’ll be married on a beach in Turks and Caicos in the Caribbean – how’s that for chasing passion and joy? We don’t just talk about elation – we live it every day together.
